Curriculum
The school is dedicated to providing the best education for each child. Our curriculum is broad and balanced. The National Curriculum is followed at all levels in English, Mathematics, Science, Design and Information Technology, History, Geography, Art, Music and Physical Education. All statutory aspects of the curriculum are in place and new strategies are implemented as appropriate. We have specialist teachers for Music and French which are taught in curriculum time, not as clubs.
Along with the opportunity to study Christianity, children also learn about other major religious traditions. The school works within Cambridgeshire's Agreed Syllabus for Religious Education. Collective Worship forms the basis of our daily assemblies.
In addition, a wide range of projects, visits, special events and after school activities are designed to enhance the basic curriculum.
