Guilden Morden C of E Primary School is a good school with outstanding features, according to Government inspectors.
Inspectors from OFSTED - the Office for Standards in Education - found outstanding aspects in almost all areas of the school, including leadership, teaching, the curriculum and pupils' behaviour and personal development.
Teaching and learning were described as good overall and at times outstanding. "Typically, teachers are well organised and plan effectively for the very wide range of age and attainment in each class."
"The teaching assistants play a valuable role in all classes in ensuring good levels of attention for all groups of pupils. Underlying the successful teaching is a high quality of relationships."
"The curriculum is good with some outstanding features. Subjects are thoroughly planned and motivate the pupils."
"Their spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is extremely good. They are proud of their school and their enthusiasm for learning is reflected in outstanding behaviour and above average attendance."
"Within a calm, positive environment, pupils develop into socially sophisticated and confident young people who greatly enjoy school."

"Guilden Morden school is a good effective Church of England school with many outstanding features and a distinctive Christian ethos. Christian values are at the centre of the life and work of the school. Collective worship makes a significant contribution to the daily lives of the pupils. Pupils are very aware of the inclusive nature of the school and are extremely considerate towards each other."
